THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE POSITIVE AND CONSISTENT CONTACT AND SUPPORT TO YOUTH WHO ARE ATTEMPTING TO OBTAIN THEIR HIGHER EDUCATIONAL GOALS.
1.) Eligibility: Age 18-25 – Must be enrolled in a 4 year University, 2-Year College or Trade School. Must complete application/interview process.
2.) G.P.A. – must maintain 2.5 GPA.
3.) Must be willing to be involved in Community Service projects. 4.) Non-Monetary Benefits- (1) Match with Mentors; (2) Career Counseling; (3) Financial Literacy; (4) One-on-One Support (5) Positive Peer Pressure; (6) Basic Legal Services
5.) Monetary Benefits: Eligible to Apply for YFH Scholarship housed by College Now (paid directly to School); eligible to apply for emergency funding toward tuition from R.h.e.m.a. Y.e.s. (to be paid directly to the school-based upon availability of funds)
